The 18-year-old will begin work next month in the NewYork office of the Weinstein Company after her family returns from a vacation in PalmSprings.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Weinstein has been a supporter of the Obama administration for years. He’s held several fundraisers for PresidentObama and has also worked on HillaryClinton’s recent presidential campaign. It remains unclear what department Malia will be working under, but it’s rumored to be maybe marketing or development.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is not Malia’s first time working for a Hollywood company. She previously worked as an intern on the NewYork set of LenaDunham’s HBO series, ‘Girls’ back in July 2015. She was also a production assistant for HalleBerry’s CBS show.
