Kanye West’s Hospitalization Is NOT an Insurance Scam

‘s rep denies his recent hospitalization is part of an insurance scam. Reports began circulating on Wednesday, November 23 that the “Famous” hitmaker went to hospital to recoup insurance money for the millions he would lose following his “Saint Pablo Tour” cancellation.
“He had just canceled for no reason, no injury, no force majeure, so they were going to lose a bunch of money,” a music insider told Page Six, “Kanye is crazy, but not crazy enough to not get his insurance money. [He] knows what he is doing.”
According to the insider, Kanye might have issues collecting the money despite being hospitalized. “They don’t pay out easily for this kind of thing with this kind of price tag,” the insider said, “I would think they would want to do an intense investigation and that this will be a disputed claim. When you’re on the hook for an arena at that level – on top of money for marketing, promotion, set builds, staff on the road – it’s tens of millions. It’s gonna be a sticky situation.”
Kanye was allegedly hospitalized to “clean up” his brand. The alleged tipster claimed, “He went too far off with the rants. It was going to alienate his core fan base. There are real business people around him, including  and , who want the payday. They needed to preserve the brand this way.”

The report has been debunked by Kanye’s rep, who says that the latest Page Six story is “ridiculous.”
In other news, Kanye’s former The Go Getters bandmate GLC recently took to Instagram to offer some details of what might have led the “Gold Digger” rapper down a path that had him recovering in a hospital.
