1. Pakistan; Deosai Bridge:
This bridge, made entirely out of wood covers gravel, asphalt and rivers. It runs at an altitude of about 13,500ft above sea level.
2. Cambodia; Bamboo Bridge:
This little bridge is the only connection between the city of Kampong Chong, Cambodia and a nearby island. The bridge is only useful during dry months, during the wet months, the people have to make do with boats.
3. China; Shiniuzhai Bridge:
This Suspension Glass Bridge is located in Shiniuzhui National Geological Park, China. The bridge is definitely not for you if you suffer from vertigo. The floor of the bridge is made of glass and you can see through all of the 590 ft below you as you pass.
4. Switzerland; Titlis Cliff Walk:
This bridge is the highest suspension bridge in all of Europe. The bridge is safe, it suspends 1,500ft above a glacier, which is enough to churn any one's stomach.
5. Costa Rica; Quepos Bridge:
This bridge is literally nicknamed 'The Bridge of Death', which tells you all you need to know. The bridge is so narrow that it allows for only one way traffic at a time.
6. USA; Lake Ponchartrain:
Spanning 24 miles, this is
the longest bridge in the world. It links New Orleans to Mandeville,
Louisiana. The bridge is so long that for most of the time you spend on
it, you don't see land at all.
