35-yr-old dragged to court for fondling women’s breasts

A man who could not keep his hands off women's breasts has been charged to court for assault

  His love for breast has landed Tairu in court.

The love for breasts has landed a 35-year-old man, Ahmed Tairu, in court after he allegedly fondled and assaulted some women by touching their breasts and buttocks in a hotel in Lagos.

The accused who resides at 26, Brown Street, Maryland, was dragged before Oshodi Magistrates’ Court on a two count charge of breach of peace and assault.

The prosecutor in the case, Cpl. Kehinde Olatunde, told the court that the accused committed the offences on May 11, 2015, at New Life Hotel located at 4, Church Street, Oshodi.

"The accused also conducted himself in a manner likely to cause a breach of peace.

The accused always go to the hotel to obstruct the female staff from performing their duties and always harass the female customers of the hotel.

Tairu had been warned several times by the management not to come to the hotel premises again, but he failed to heed the warning."

Olatunde told the court that the accused allegedly stabbed two security guards with a broken bottle when they tried to prevent him from assaulting the women.

"In the process, he tore their uniforms and stabbed one of the guards on the head with a broken bottle and another on his chest."

The accused pleaded not guilty to the offences and the Magistrate, Akeem Fashola, granted him bail in the sum of N50, 000 and adjourned the case to May 21 for mention.
