Akomolafeayomikun's Blog Interview with The XPANDIBLES DANCE CREW
1. Can we meet u guys?
Answer - Our Names Are OGUNBAKIN OLUWAFEMI MICHEAL aka @femiginger and ONAIFO OPEYEMI EMMANUEL aka @speedope , We are Both Graduates Of Lead City University (2012)
2. What was ur background like? (growing up)
Answer - Our growing up was just as normal as other people , eventho we both grew up from average families..... We were well taken care of.
3. Are u guys related in terms of family setting?
Answer - We use to be friends but now we are more than brothers (You Get??) lol
4. How did u venture into dancing?
Answer - we ventured into dance at the age of 12. Our environments at that time was a sort of inspiration because everything round us was either moving to a beat or stunting. Moreover, our passion for dance played a significant role. We have friends who call us for dance battles or ask for support at their shows, so we just do it. It is what we love. So I’ll say with the passion for dance, the environment that supports it and opportunities is the only inspiration we had and still have.
5. How long have u guys been doing this?
Answer - We have been dancing over a decade now but Xpandables started two years back (February 1 2014).
6. Who are your mentors?
Answer - The Late Michael Jackson , Chris Brown, Kaffy and Peter(Psquare)
7. How far has The Xpandables gone?
Answer - We have Gone farther than Expected In Two Years ... ( We have covered major shows In and outside Nigeria)
8. Who are the artistes that have you've featured on their music videos?
Answer - OLAMIDE , SKALES , POSLYTD , OYINKANSADE , FABULOUS PIZZY , ARTQUAKE etc..
9. Who also are the other artists you want to work with?
Answer - We have got a long list for that so let's leave it Confidential but trust me , We Have More Videos Coming Out Soon !!!
10. Any plans to Leave Ibadan soon to settle down fully in Lagos.
Answer - We Are based In both lagos and Ibadan, The Business Determines Where We Base.
11. Any form of Rivarly btw You and other dance team in Ibadan here.
Answer - Lool ..... NO !!!
12. How close are u to the other dance crew?
Answer - We All Relate like Family...
13. Any plans of Leaving this business /industry soon?
Answer - We Don't See That Happening Soon.
14. What's your relationship life like? Answer - We Are Both Single.
15. How far have u grown with your fans especially the female ones?
Answer - We have grown to love our fans more than the way they love us because they are our Angels .
16. What should your fans be expecting from u soon?
Answer - They should Expect More Mind Blowing News And More Unusual Stage Performances.
17. What advice do u have for the young ones out there aspiring to be like you?
Answer - They Should Always Put GOD First , the Upcoming dancers should not see themselves as upcoming , they should believe more in their brand , package it as far as they work hard to build the brand.
