Exclusive interview with IB Based Artiste "STREETSHOLZ"

The management of Akomolafeayomikun blog has indicated that exclusive interviews will be made in the Year 2015 with Nigerian Artistes worldwide, and the first interview this year is going to be the very exclusive one with Ibadan Based Artiste Badekale Aseshola Ridwan popularly known as "streetsholz"

-          CAN WE MEET YOU?

My name is Badekale Adeshola Ridwan, popularly known as “Streetsholz”.

I am from Ibadan, I was Born into the family of Mr and Mrs Badekale, I am from a family of Five, in which I am the last born of that family.

-          CAN YOU TALK ABOUT WHAT INSPIRED YOU INTO MUSIC AND HOW HAS YOUR CARRER BEEN?

I have had passion for Music as long as I can remember, but what really inspired me was that, when I hear good music made by other artistes, that makes me feel good and happy, through those good music I have listen to, I felt like I could do my songs and beats to make people feel happy through mine too, that was what inspired me into music.

And speaking of my career, I have released three singles presently, the third one which is the latest, was released last year December.

-          HOW HAS IT BEEN COMING INTO THE MUSIC INDUSTRY?

Well, I will say it has not been easy and like people will say “Life is not a bed of roses”, its actually true there are a lot of challenges that comes and some will still come but I know God is always there to help me out and to sort things out for me.

“And you know go get to the top there, hard work is required”

-          ­WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN THE NEXT 4-5YEARS AWAY FROM NOW?

(Laughs), in the next 4-5years away from now, I see myself going places and getting up there to work with great artistes like Jesse Jagz, Reminisce, CDQ, Dammy Krane, Wande Coal and lots of those Big fish in the music industry.

-          HOW HAVE YOU GROWN WITH YOUR FANS?

“My fans are my friends, and my friends are my fans”, so its very easy for us to relate together.

-          WHAT SHOULD YOU FANS BE EXPECTING FROM YOU THIS YEAR?

They should expect a lot from me, I have a lot of plans for this year and I know with God on my side those plans will be accomplished.

I am planning on releasing an EP by the middle of the year. “They should just stay calm, stay tuned and watch out for me”
